Scrapbooks of newspaper clippings on San Francisco Bay Area Topics, 1932-1983, bulk 1971-1981.

Chiefly clippings from the San Francisco chronicle, San Francisco examiner, Oakland tribune, and other publications documenting local history, people, politics, events, and occurrences. Many of the clippings are from Millie's column (written by Millie Robbins). There are some clippings on U.S. and world news. Contains a few items of ephemera, including an Anti-digit-dialing league broadsheet, and a broadsheet advocating a boycott of grapes and Safeway supermarket (Vol. 1). Also includes a 1932 letter and typed transcription by a salesman to the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company recounting a humorous story regarding a new account (Vol. 1). Most of the clippings are from the 1970s.
